Privacy Policy

Lootgrind RPG · Effective 16 September 2026

This privacy policy applies to the Lootgrind RPG app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Nihat Barut (collectively, the "Application"). Nihat Barut is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".

In plain terms: the Application has no accounts and no sign-in, and the Service Provider operates no servers that hold your game data. Your character and everything on it are stored on your own device. The information described below is collected automatically by third-party software the Application uses for advertising, analytics and crash reporting.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information is gathered automatically by the third-party services listed further below, and may include:

The Application does not ask you to create an account, and does not request or collect your name, email address, postal address, phone number or precise location. The only personal information the Service Provider ever receives directly is what you choose to put in an email when you contact support.

What Stays On Your Device

Your save — character, level, gear, inventory, currencies, town buildings and settings — is stored on your device. On iPhone a second copy is kept in the device keychain so your character survives deleting and re-downloading the Application. Both are included in your device's own backup if you have backups enabled, which is handled by Apple.

The Service Provider never receives a copy of your save. That also means a lost character cannot be restored, and in-game currency cannot be added or removed remotely, because there is no account to act on.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Application itself does not use cookies. Its third-party SDKs may use device identifiers, advertising identifiers and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, advertising and service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider obtains consent before non-essential tracking technologies are used. Where local law requires an advertising consent choice, Google's consent form is shown first, and can be reopened at any time from Privacy Options in the in-game Settings. On iPhone, where ads can be served, the Application then presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If advertising consent is refused, neither the tracking prompt nor any ad request follows.

Third Party Access

The Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies covering how they handle data. The Service Provider does not sell your personal information. Below are the third-party services used by the Application, and links to their policies:

The Service Provider may disclose information:

International Data Transfers

The third-party service providers above may transfer and process personal data in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable law requires safeguards for such transfers, those providers rely on mechanisms including:

Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, appropriate safeguards are applied and any consent required for the transfer is obtained.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data relating to you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, contact the Service Provider at lootgrindrpg@gmail.com. Because the Service Provider holds no accounts and no copy of your data, most requests concern data held by the third parties above; the Service Provider will respond and direct you to the relevant provider where the data sits with them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

The Service Provider does not sell personal information for money. Where you have allowed tracking, the use of advertising identifiers for personalised advertising may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA. You can opt out at any time by declining or turning off tracking in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, and through Privacy Options in the in-game Settings where that choice is offered. To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, contact lootgrindrpg@gmail.com.

Opt-Out Rights

You can limit or stop collection at any time:

Data Retention

The Service Provider operates no servers and therefore retains no game data of its own. Email you send to support is kept only as long as needed to deal with your request.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law, and the Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them. Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the Application, contact lootgrindrpg@gmail.com. The Service Provider holds no such data itself, and will act on the request and help direct it to the third-party provider concerned so it can be deleted.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information, and relies on electronic and procedural safeguards, including the platform protections Apple provides. Your save is held in your device's app storage and, on iPhone, the device keychain. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Data Breach Notification

If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you and the relevant authorities in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be notified by posting the updated policy with a new effective date at this address, and where required by law your consent will be sought before they take effect. Previous versions are available on request by contacting lootgrindrpg@gmail.com.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-09-16.

Your Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action — for example by allowing tracking at the prompt, or accepting the advertising consent form. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.

Contact Us

If you have any questions regarding privacy while using the Application, or questions about these practices, contact the Service Provider by email at lootgrindrpg@gmail.com.
